Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Applied

Thank you for your interest in CGT.
A member of our team will review your application and if you are a potential match, we will schedule a call to learn more about your skills and experience.
Stage 2

Virtual Interview

If we determine that your application is a potential match, a virtual interview will be scheduled with you using Microsoft Teams. You will also be sent a link to complete the required step of an Attribute assessment.
Stage 3

Tour and Testing

The tour and the test will take approximately 2 hours to complete.  Please wear safety shoes and prescription safety glasses if you require prescription eyewear.  We will provide a safety vest, non-prescription safety glasses and hearing protection.  If you do not own safety shoes, please wear running shoes and we will provide shoe protectors.
    
CGT has a policy in place that all new hires are to be fully vaccinated.   Please provide proof of vaccination by emailing a photo of your vaccination status. 
Stage 4

Functional Assessment and other requirements

If you are selected to continue with the recruitment process, you will be required to complete further steps which include attending a functional assessment, providing evidence of your Ontario Secondary School Diploma or GED, and providing a Police background check. 
Stage 5

Offer of Employment

Once all steps in the recruitment process have been successfully completed, an offer of employment will be sent.
Stage 6

Hired

Candidates who receive an offer of employment must confirm their acceptance and a start date with CGT.
